This Salchichón de Bellota is a typical Spanish sausage made from 100% purebred Iberian pork.
The pigs live partly free in the wild (Delhesa) where they are fed a natural diet of acorns (Bellota) and wild grasses. This gives the meat a nutty flavour.
The meat is further flavoured with salt, garlic and other spices.
